Grace Baptist Academy is a ministry of the Grace Baptist Church in Urbana. Since its establishment in 1978, the Academy has served area families by providing a quality Christian education for students, Kindergarten through 6th grade. Grace Baptist Academy is affiliated with the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS).
The program of the Academy places a strong emphasis on academic fundamentals through traditional classroom instruction. All students from kindergarten through 6th grade take the Stanford Achievement Test each spring. Student scores are included in the AACS national testing program. All subjects are taught in light of biblical truth. Social development is encouraged through the teaching of good manners, high moral standards, respect for parents and authority, and patriotism.
